Why Erin Is Running

I am running for school committee to support students, families, teachers, and administrators of the Wayland Public Schools.  

I am a collaborative, service oriented and mission driven person by nature. In addition to being a proud mother of 3 children, I have an extensive background in business development. I will dedicate my enthusiasm and skills to recognizing and anticipating the needs and uniting team members to achieve common goals. I believe that a successful school committee should encompass a diverse skillset and perspective. My experience would compliment the existing board and foster strong collaboration.  

Wayland is my home and the only home my family has ever known. Living in town for 17 years, the fabric of this community is a part of me. From the moment my children were born I have found ways to give back to the programs, services, and schools that connect us to our community. 

I have been on the Wayland Public Schools Foundation Board for 5 years. The ability to bring innovative educational resources to every child in Wayland resonates with me and my personal mission.

My promise to the Wayland community is that I will ask the hard questions, carefully consider all information, and work together in developing solutions that provide a high quality education to each student.
